April 19, 1795. Died Jacob Romig, married, born November 1, 1757 in Lynn Twp, Northampton Co; moved to Heydelberg Twp, Berks Co, where he married Rosina Glad in May, 1782; they had 6 children, all living. This spring he decided to move here with his family, and was on the way, when he was injuired by one of his horses 11 miles from here, while crossing the Susquehanna. He was taken to an inn 7 miles from here, where he died.
