In the early 1950s, Peter Martin Raven and Nancy Helena Wilson met at Long Beach State College, both majoring in art. They fell in love, and after graduating, Pete joined the Navy and was sent to Japan for a year. He courted Nancy by writing a letter every day with some art on the envelope. They were so charming that Nancy saved them. Here are select linoleum prints Nancy made of some of them.
